Grab a Friend and Be Part of the
Spring Fling Committee!

First Meeting: Thursday, Jan. 24th @ 7:00 PM in the media center

Hello everyone. This year Laura Uecker and I are co-chairing the Spring Fling.  Last year's Spring Fling was a huge success...not to mention a lot of fun!  As you know, this is a big event which requires a lot of planning.  We are working diligently to get things started and with your help, this will be the best Spring Fling yet!  Just to let you know, we are currently in the planning phase and we will have our first meeting on this upcoming Thursday, Jan. 24th @ 7:00 PM in the media center.  We will be discussing the responsibilities of all of the sub-committees...so please try to make arrangements to be there.  We still need volunteers for the following sub-committees:

Food
Games
Cake Walk
Baskets By Grade
Pre-Ticket Sales
Entertainment

It is very important that we get enough volunteers to fill these committees in order to make the Spring Fling a success.  Please encourage any CES parents that you know to join us at our meeting.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Thank You,
Susan Steinberg

Calling All Craftspeople & Artisans
for the Spring Fling
Artisan Fair & Kids' Corral!

Parents, Teachers & Staff:

Are you a craftsperson? The PTA is looking for people who are interested in selling their own homemade crafts at the Spring Fling Artisans' Fair, Saturday May 3rd from 12 noon to 4pm, rain or shine.

The PTA is renting 8' x 8' spaces in the school gymnasium for $40 a piece. You keep all the proceeds from your sales.  You are responsible for providing your own table/display. Adult artisans will have spaces around the perimeter of the gym, while student crafters will have tables in the middle.

Please respond by Friday February 15th to reserve your space!
Students: Do you make your own crafts? Would you like a chance to sell them at the Spring Fling? The PTA is renting spaces to students for $5 a piece. You need to bring your own table, but all the money you make is yours to keep.
